Experience an unforgettable 3-day gorilla trekking safari to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in southwestern Uganda. This adventure takes you to one of Uganda’s most scenic and intimate national parks, located in the Virunga Mountains near Kisoro. Day 1: Transfer to Kisoro You will be picked up from Kampala or Entebbe and travel through Uganda’s beautiful countryside to Kisoro. Enjoy scenic views of rolling hills, tea plantations, and crater lakes before checking into your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will then enter the forest to track a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing the gorillas as they feed, groom, and interact in their natural habitat. This is one of Africa’s most powerful wildlife experiences. Return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight stay. Day 3: Return to Kampala After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe with lunch en route.
